HISTORY
OF WOODARD RACING
Woodard
Racing has a rich history in and around the Ohio area that dates
back to the 1960's. Earnie's father, Albert, competed in the stock
and late model divisions at numerous Ohio race tracks - most notably
Eldora Speedway. Albert was a multi time track champion at Eldora,
and raced his way into the feature field in the 1972 World 100.
Albert's
son, Earnie, began his racing career in the 1980's by competing
at local go kart tracks, including Willowdale, which is now closed.
Earnie began racing stock cars in 1993 at Florence Speedway, and
to date, has accumulated 27 feature wins.
